NEW
1. Clients: New profile navigation
The client profile now has a two-level layout. Top-level tabs group content into four main categories: Work, Activities, Files, and Finance.
Each category has its own sub-pages (for example, Work contains: Tasks, Workflow, Projects). The top tabs also have a dropdown menu, so you can reach the right section in a single click.
Why? Navigation is faster and more intuitive. Everything is logically grouped, so you no longer need to scroll through a long list of tabs.
2. Calendar: Plan 1, 3, 5, 7 days or a full month
You can now choose how many days to display in the calendar view: 1, 3, 5, 7 days, or a full month. Pick the view that matches your planning needs.
Why? A single day, a work week, or an entire month overview are all one click away. Plan exactly as far ahead as you need, without scrolling back and forth through the calendar.
3. Tasks: Dependencies visible as lines in template and plan views
Task dependencies are now displayed as visual lines in both the company task template and the client plan views. Each dependency is clearly connected with a line showing which task must be completed first.
Why? New team members can immediately see the workflow logic without opening tasks one by one. Managers can verify that template dependencies are set up correctly and spot bottlenecks before they become problems.
4. Tasks: New description format
Task descriptions and other text fields now have an upgraded rich text editor. The new format supports better formatting, clearer structure, and more comfortable editing.
Why? Task instructions are easier to read. You can use headings, numbered lists, and other formatting to keep complex work instructions well-structured.
5. Tasks: Assign colors to topics
Topics can now be assigned colors that are used across all of Uku. Color codes are displayed in task lists, on the dashboard, and in the client plan view.
Why? Visual distinction helps you orient quickly. You can see at a glance which area a task belongs to, without opening it.
Example: Assign blue to payroll tasks, red to tax declarations, and green to annual reports. On the dashboard, you can immediately see which areas have pending work.
6. Clients: Default client on member profile
You can now set a default client in the member profile settings. This client is automatically pre-selected when creating a new task.
Why? If a team member primarily works with one client, they no longer have to manually select the client for every task. Saves time and reduces errors in daily work.
Example: A new accountant is mainly responsible for one large client. Set that client as the default and every new task is automatically linked to the right client.
7. Members: Vacations overview
The member list now includes a vacations overview where you can see all members' time off in one place and conveniently approve leave requests.
Why? Firm managers can see everyone's vacation at a glance and quickly approve requests without opening each member's profile separately. Especially useful during summer and holidays, when many vacation requests need to be managed at once.
8. Billing: Invoice preview
Before sending an invoice, you can now see exactly how it will look to the client. The preview displays the final layout with all line items.
Why? Quickly verify that all lines, amounts, and formatting are correct before the client receives the invoice. Avoid unprofessional mistakes and the need for re-sending.
9. Clients: Smart date field options
Client custom date fields now support dynamic date ranges. Filters update automatically and never need manual adjustments.
Why? No more updating filters at the start of every month. Save a filter once and it works forever.
Example: Save a filter for "Contacts whose document expires this month" and the list refreshes automatically at the start of each month. For AML checks, you can instantly see whose documents need renewal.
10. Clients: Name your billing contracts
Client billing contracts can now be given names that are displayed in the contract list. Each contract is clearly distinguishable from the list view.
Why? When a client has multiple contracts, you can tell them apart instantly by name without opening each one.
Example: A client has three contracts: "Bookkeeping", "Payroll", and "Advisory". The names are visible right in the list, and finding the right contract takes a second.
11. Integration: Create a Directo client with one click
You can now create a client in Directo directly from the client card with a single button click. The client is created with all the necessary data, without entering anything manually in Directo.
Why? No more running imports or manually creating clients in Directo. Adding a new client to Directo now takes one click instead of several minutes.
Improvements
Client plan: Automation icons (emails, etc.) are now visible inline, without opening the task.
Members: When navigating from the member list to a profile, you can conveniently move to the next member via the list.
Billing: Navigate between invoices quickly and easily, without going back to the list.
Billing: You can now attach a PDF to an e-invoice.
Clients: The files view now groups documents by type for a better overview.
Projects: Change the status of multiple projects at once from the project list.
Client portal: An accidentally added client portal flag can now be removed from a task.
Monitoring: Edit monitoring values directly in the monitoring view, without navigating elsewhere.
