How to Activate the E-Signatures App
To activate the e-signatures functionality:
open Settings and Applications
then open the E-Signatures app
click Activate.
E-Signature Configuration
To configure the e-signature location and format, select Settings in the e-signature module.
Then click on the Position dropdown menu and choose the appropriate place where the signature should appear on documents.
Next, select from the Placement dropdown menu and decide on the e-signature placement method on documents.
If desired, you can activate the IP Address and Timestamp radio buttons.
When these functions are activated, the e-signature will display these details on the documents as well.
Adding an IP address is useful for legal documents where it's important to identify the signing location.
A Timestamp is recommended for all important documents to ensure accurate documentation of the signing time.
When both additional functions are activated, the e-signature displays the signer's name, signing date and time, and the signer's IP address on documents. All configured settings apply to all documents to be signed in the given task.
