What to do when an employee has left / How to deactivate a member?

Changing an employee's status to inactive is necessary when the employee no longer works at the company or is temporarily inactive.

Steps to deactivate an employee:

  1. Go to Members

  2. Click on the pencil icon next to the employee's name
    ​

  3. In the new view, change the employee status to inactive

  4. Click the "Deactivate user" button
    ​


    5. In the new view, select the user to whom all the departed employee's tasks and clients will be transferred

    6. "Confirm" your choice

Important to remember:

When changing an employee to inactive, you may also need to change the number of active employees in your package.

When to use:

  • Employee leaves the company

  • Employee is temporarily inactive

  • You want to reduce the number of active users in your package
