Contract templates simplify setting up client billing because you don't have to add contacts manually for each client. Instead, you can create contract templates and add them to clients.

How to create contract templates?

To create a new contract template, go to "Settings & Apps" and open the Billing app. Then navigate to the Templates view.

Before creating contract templates, we recommend adding products/services first. Read more about how to add products.

To create contract templates, click the "Add template" button and follow these steps:

  1. Name the template

  2. Select the invoice period and the date

  3. Add products/services (you can select products already entered or create new ones)

  4. Save

How to add a billing template to multiple clients at once?

To add a billing template to multiple clients at once, go to the client list and follow these steps:

  1. Select clients to whom you want to add a billing template

  2. Click "Contract templates" in the horizontal menu

  3. Select a template from the list

  4. Enter the start date of the contract

  5. Save

Important to know:

  • If you change the contract template, you can apply the same changes in the client contracts associated with the template. However, t is important to note that if you change something in the client contract, the connection between the template and the client contract is lost. In this case, it will no longer be possible to change these customer agreements by changing the template.

  • You can create several contracts for one client.
