How to save a report

TL;DR: Apply your desired filters in the Report view, click the Save icon, name the report, and optionally set it as your default view. Saved reports appear in the Report menu for quick access.

Who can do this

  • Any Uku team member with access to the Report view

Why save a report?

Reports provide a real-time overview of your work across various parameters. If you frequently use the same combination of filters, saving that configuration lets you reload it instantly without reapplying filters each time.

Steps to save a report

  1. Navigate to the Report view from the main menu.

  2. Click the + (add filter) icon to add the filters you need.

  3. Select the data fields you want the report to display.

  4. Once the report shows the data you need, click the Save icon.

  5. In the dialog that appears, enter a name for your report.

  6. If you have previously saved reports, choose whether to create a new report or overwrite an existing one.

  7. Click Save to confirm.

Set a report as default view

You can set your most-used report to open automatically every time you navigate to the Report view.

  1. When saving the report, tick the checkbox next to Set as my default view.

  2. Click Save.

The default report is indicated by a # symbol and bold font in the Report menu.

Find and manage saved reports

  1. Open the Report menu from the main menu.

  2. Your saved reports are listed in the menu. The default report is marked with a # symbol.

  3. To delete a saved report, hover over its name in the list and click the Delete (trash can) icon that appears.

Troubleshooting

  • Save icon is not visible β€” Ensure you have at least one filter applied. The Save icon only appears when filters are active in the Report view.

  • Saved report does not load the expected data β€” Report data is real-time. If underlying data has changed since you saved the report, the results will reflect current data, not a snapshot from when the report was saved. Verify that your filters still match the data you need.

  • Cannot delete a saved report β€” Hover over the report name in the Report menu to reveal the Delete icon. If you still cannot delete it, check whether it is the default report for another team member.

  • Default view setting is not applied β€” After saving, confirm that the Set as my default view checkbox was ticked. Re-save the report with the checkbox enabled if needed.
