How to filter and save your dashboard

Uku lets you filter your dashboard to focus on the tasks that matter most, then save that filtered view for instant access in the future.

TL;DR

Click the filter icon on the dashboard, set your desired filters, then click the save icon to preserve the view. Saved dashboards are accessible by hovering over Dashboard in the main menu.

Who can do this

  • Any Uku user with access to the dashboard

  • Members of a company account with tasks assigned to them

Why use filters?

Filters help you differentiate and focus on:

  • Important tasks

  • Today's tasks

  • Tasks by client

Available filter options

When you open the filter view, the following options are available:

How to filter and save your dashboard

  1. Click the filter icon on the dashboard task list.

  2. Select or configure your desired filters from the available options.

  3. To add additional filters, click the + (add filter) button.

  4. Once you have the filtered view you want, click the save icon (floppy disc) to save it.

  5. Optionally, mark the saved dashboard as the default dashboard, which will be displayed every time you navigate to the dashboard.

Accessing saved dashboards

Saved dashboards are accessible by hovering over Dashboard in the main menu. The default dashboard is recognizable by the # symbol and bold font.

Troubleshooting

  • I cannot find the filter icon: The filter icon is located on the dashboard task list view. Make sure you are on the main dashboard, not inside an individual task.

  • My saved dashboard is not appearing in the menu: Hover over Dashboard in the main menu to reveal saved dashboard views. If it still does not appear, try saving the filtered view again.

  • Filters reset every time I visit the dashboard: You need to save the filter configuration and set it as the default. Click the save icon after configuring filters, then mark it as the default dashboard.

  • I want to delete a saved dashboard view: Navigate to the saved view, then look for the option to remove or unsave it from the dashboard management area.
