How can I start paying for Uku?

TL;DR: After your 14-day free trial, add a payment card to subscribe to a paid plan. Choose your plan, set the number of members, and select monthly or annual billing (annual saves 23%).

Who can do this

  • Users with Owner or Admin rights on the company account

How the trial works

Creating a company account in Uku starts a 14-day free trial of a paid plan. To continue using Uku after the trial ends, you need to add your payment card details. The account owner will receive an email reminder when the trial is about to expire.

Subscribe to a plan

A valid payment card is required (credit or debit cards that allow online payments are accepted). After the trial ends, the prepayment amount is charged from the card and the selected plan becomes active.

  1. Select Settings in the main navigation menu.

  2. On the company account page, review whether the free trial is still active and for how long.

  3. Select Choose Plan (or Change Plan if you already have an active subscription).

  4. Configure the following options:

  5. Review the total amount on the confirmation screen and select Confirm.

  6. Enter your card details in the payment form:

    • Card number

    • Card expiry date

    • CVV code

  7. Submit the payment. If the details are correct, the plan activates immediately.

If payment is not processed, verify your card details and ensure the card allows online transactions. Always refresh the page (hold Shift while refreshing) before retrying.

Troubleshooting

My payment was declined.

Common causes include an expired card, a card that does not allow online payments, or insufficient funds. Resolve the issue with your bank, then refresh the page (hold Shift while refreshing) and try again.

I do not see the "Choose Plan" button.

Only Owner and Admin users can manage subscriptions. If you do not see the option, ask your account owner to grant you admin rights or complete the subscription on your behalf.

I want to reduce the number of members but cannot change the count.

You must first deactivate users under the company account before you can lower the member count on the plan. Go to your user management settings, deactivate the users you no longer need, then return to the plan selection screen.

I was charged but my plan does not appear active.

Refresh the page (hold Shift while refreshing) to reload your account status. If the issue persists, contact Uku support via the Chat widget with your payment confirmation details.
