How to switch to a different plan or change the billing frequency

TL;DR: Switch between the Team and Enterprise plans or change from monthly to yearly billing (or vice versa) at any time from your company settings. Changes take effect immediately, with prorated credits applied automatically.

Who can do this

  • Company administrators or account owners

Changing your plan or billing frequency

  1. Select Settings & Apps from the main menu.

  2. Open your company's app.

  3. Click Edit plan.

  4. Choose the desired plan (Team or Enterprise) and select either Monthly or Yearly billing.

  5. Confirm the change.

What happens when changing the billing frequency

When you change the billing frequency, any existing credit is taken into account. If you switch from monthly to yearly billing, an invoice is created for the remaining amount to be paid. The change takes effect immediately.

What happens when changing the subscription plan

When you change the subscription plan, the new plan applies immediately. If you upgrade from Team to Enterprise, an invoice is created for the price difference that needs to be paid.

All plan and billing frequency changes take effect immediately. Existing credit from your current billing period is automatically applied to the new plan or frequency.

Troubleshooting

  • "Edit plan" button is not visible -- Only company administrators or account owners can change plans. Contact your account owner if you do not see this option.

  • Unexpected invoice amount after switching -- When changing plans or billing frequency, Uku prorates the remaining credit from your current period. Review the invoice details for a breakdown of the prorated amounts.

  • Plan change does not seem to take effect -- The change is immediate, but you may need to refresh the page or log out and back in to see updated plan features.
