Disallow Employees to Change Their Time Entries
Disable members to edit old time entries. Lock time entries on a weekly or monthly basis.
How to lock time entries?
Select the company profile from the settings.
Go to the "Settings" tab.
Activate the "Lock time records" setting.
Specify whether time entries are locked weekly or monthly.
NB! Locking time entries applies to users. Members with admin rights can edit locked time entries.
How to change locked time entries?
If it is necessary to change time records, this can be done by a user with admin/owner rights.
Since they cannot create a time record for another person but only correct it, the best way to do it is as follows:
The member marks under the given task a 1 min time entry for the current day
The member adds a comment to this entry with the correct time period.
The member adds an admin member to the task who can edit it.
The admin will change it to the appropriate date/time.
The admin adds their comment to the entry and removes themselves from the task.
