How to delete my Uku account
Deleting your Uku account is straightforward, but if you have a company account, you must delete that first before removing your personal account.
TL;DR
Delete your company account first (if applicable) via Settings & Apps, then delete your personal account from Profile. All data is permanently removed.
Who can do this
Any user who can log into their Uku account
Company account owners (to delete the company account)
When you delete your account, all your clients, tasks, and entered data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. For security reasons, Uku support cannot delete an account on your behalf β you must be able to log in to perform the deletion yourself.
Step 1: Delete your company account (if applicable)
If you have a company account, you must delete it before you can delete your personal account.
Select Settings & Apps from the main menu.
Click on your company's app.
Click Edit company.
Click Delete account.
Confirm the deletion when Uku asks you to verify.
Step 2: Delete your personal Uku account
Select Profile from the main menu.
Navigate to the Delete my account section on the Profile page.
Click Delete my account.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm that you want to delete your account.
After deletion
All your clients, tasks, and entered data will be permanently removed.
You can sign up again with the same email address after deleting your account.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find the Delete account option in company settings: Make sure you are the owner of the company account. Only the account owner can delete the company account.
I cannot log in to delete my account: For security reasons, Uku cannot delete accounts on behalf of users. Use the password reset feature to regain access, then proceed with deletion.
I deleted my account but want to recover my data: Account deletion is permanent. All data is removed and cannot be recovered. You can sign up again with the same email, but previous data will not be restored.
The Delete my account button is not responding: Ensure that your company account has been deleted first. You cannot delete your personal account while a company account is still active.
