1. Billing: invoice templates
Section titled “1. Billing: invoice templates”Create invoice templates to simplify setting up client contracts — no need to start from scratch each time. Invoice templates can be managed under the Billing app in the App Store. Read more about how to set up and use contract templates.
2. Billing: template changes apply to linked client contracts
Section titled “2. Billing: template changes apply to linked client contracts”When a contract template is updated, all client contracts created from that template are also updated automatically. Note: if any changes have been made directly to a template-based client contract, the link between the template and that contract is lost, and future template updates will not affect it.
3. Billing: multiple contracts per client
Section titled “3. Billing: multiple contracts per client”Add many contracts to one client. Contracts are listed under the client’s billing view.
4. Billing: redesigned client billing view
Section titled “4. Billing: redesigned client billing view”The client billing view is now divided into three parts: (1) Invoices — list of client invoices, (2) Contracts — list of contracts, and (3) Settings — client billing settings.
5. Billing: add invoices manually without a contract
Section titled “5. Billing: add invoices manually without a contract”Create one-time invoices by clicking “Add invoice” in the client billing view.
6. Billing: discounts
Section titled “6. Billing: discounts”Uku now supports discounts. Add a discount rate to each service row in a contract template, client contract, or one-time invoice. Discount rates are also sent to the accounting system when using an integration.
7. Billing: show zero-price service rows on invoice
Section titled “7. Billing: show zero-price service rows on invoice”Invoice rows where the price is 0 but the quantity is above 0 are now shown on the invoice, so you can display free services.
8. Billing: show accountant name on invoice
Section titled “8. Billing: show accountant name on invoice”The primary user’s name can be displayed on the PDF invoice sent to the client. Use the placeholder ####{{client_primary_user}} in the client contract settings description or in the billing app’s invoice PDF template.
9. Billing: invoice reply email
Section titled “9. Billing: invoice reply email”In client billing settings, select a reply-to email address. When the client replies to an invoice email, it is sent to the person responsible for the client.
10. Billing: reorder products on invoice
Section titled “10. Billing: reorder products on invoice”Change the order of products in the company contract template, client contract, and invoice edit view.
11. Billing: new filters in client view
Section titled “11. Billing: new filters in client view”Two new filters are available in the Client view: (1) contract status (active, pending, finished), and (2) contract template (selection of company contract templates).
12. Billing: bulk billing actions
Section titled “12. Billing: bulk billing actions”Add or replace billing templates for multiple clients at once from the Clients view.
13. Billing: new permission settings in App Store
Section titled “13. Billing: new permission settings in App Store”Three new billing permission options are available in the Billing App Store settings:
- Allow managers to view and create their client contracts and invoices — when enabled, managers (Client Admins) can see the billing view in the left menu and manage invoices, contracts, and settings for their own clients only.
- Allow members to view and create their client invoices — users can see invoices on client profiles in the Billing tab, add new invoices, and adjust them. Export and sending invoices are not included.
- Allow members to view their client invoices — users can see client invoices in the client view, but cannot take any actions on them.
Improvements

Section titled “Billing”- Headers in the apps are fixed, and windows are extended for better usage.
- Navigate quickly to client invoices from the invoice view by clicking on the client’s name in the header.
- You can now remove the “Date until” value from a client contract.
