Uku has two separate logs that track different kinds of information. Knowing which to use will help you find the answer you need faster.
Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”- All team members can open their own Activity log (every plan) and their own Audit log entries.
- Company Admins and Company Owners on the Elite plan can additionally see other members’ changes in the Audit log and undo them. The Activity log is always personal — no role can see another member’s Activity log.
Comparison at a glance
Section titled “Comparison at a glance”| Activity log | Audit log | |
|---|---|---|
| Where to find it | Bell icon in the application header — or Profile avatar shortcut (desktop) | Profile avatar → Audit log |
| What it shows | A feed of actions and events: tasks created, updated, assigned; clients changed; your logins and invitations | Field-level changes: every modified field with its old and new value |
| Detail level | Action summaries (for example, “Task updated by Jaan”) | Exact diffs (for example, “Due date: 2026-04-15 → 2026-04-30”) |
| Undo support | No | Yes — individual fields and entire entries can be reverted |
| Filters | Chronological feed only, no filtering | Rich filter bar: date, member, entity type, action type, ID search |
| Who sees what | Every member sees only their own activity, regardless of role | All members see their own changes; Elite plan + Company Admin role required for team-wide visibility and extended history |
| Plan required | All plans | All plans (basic — own changes only); Elite for extended visibility |
When to use the Activity log
Section titled “When to use the Activity log”Use the Activity log when you want to retrace your own recent actions:
- What did I work on today?
- Which tasks did I move to Done?
- Did I update that client recently, and when?
- What was the last thing I changed before stepping away?
The Activity log is a fast, scrollable feed of your own actions. It is not filterable, and it does not show field-level details. To review another team member’s changes, use the Audit log instead.
When to use the Audit log
Section titled “When to use the Audit log”Use the Audit log when you need to trace a specific change:
- Who changed the invoice amount and what was it before?
- When was a task’s due date moved?
- Did someone change a client’s billing settings?
- What did a contract look like before it was edited?
The Audit log is filterable, searchable, and supports undo. It requires Elite plan access for team-wide use.

Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”How do I see what my team did today?
Section titled “How do I see what my team did today?”The Activity log won’t help — it shows only your own actions. To see what other members did, use the Audit log (Elite plan, Company Admin or Owner): set the date range to today and filter by Who. The Audit log lists every member’s changes with before/after values.
Cannot find a specific change in the Activity log
Section titled “Cannot find a specific change in the Activity log”The Activity log is a chronological feed with no filters. For specific field-level changes, switch to the Audit log and use the Type, Who, and date range filters to narrow down results.
The Audit log is not in the profile menu
Section titled “The Audit log is not in the profile menu”The Audit log feature must be enabled for your company. Contact your Company Owner to enable it in company settings.
The Activity log shows activity from the wrong company
Section titled “The Activity log shows activity from the wrong company”If you belong to multiple companies, the Activity log may show activity from all of them mixed together. Use the Audit log with the Company filter to see activity scoped to a specific company.
