Connect e-conomic to Uku

Company Admin or Company Owner role on a Team or Elite subscription. You also need an e-conomic login with permission to grant third-party apps access to the agreement (typically the agreement administrator).

e-conomic is the right integration for firms in Denmark. The same connection also works for Norwegian and Swedish e-conomic accounts where applicable.

Path: Settings & Apps → e-conomic

  1. Open Settings & Apps and find the e-conomic card.
  2. Click the card to open the integration dialog and, on the Overview tab, click Enable.
  3. Switch to the Connect to e-conomic tab.
  4. Click Authorize. Uku redirects you to the e-conomic sign-in page.
  5. Sign in to e-conomic and grant Uku access to the agreement you want to connect.
  6. e-conomic returns you to Uku. The connection is confirmed and the agreement number is shown on the Overview tab.

OAuth tokens are stored in Uku and refreshed automatically. You will not need to re-authorize unless you revoke access from inside e-conomic.

e-conomic is the one accounting integration in Uku with two-way sync for client records, in addition to the standard inbound work-statistics flow used by accounting summary tasks.

Authorization fails with “agreement not found” or “no permission”

Section titled “Authorization fails with “agreement not found” or “no permission””

Make sure the e-conomic login you used has access to at least one agreement and is allowed to grant third-party app access. The agreement administrator usually has this permission; standard users often do not. Try the Authorize flow again with an admin account.

A client edited in Uku does not appear in e-conomic

Section titled “A client edited in Uku does not appear in e-conomic”

The two-way client sync runs on save and on the periodic background sync. If a recently edited client has not appeared in e-conomic, click Reload data in the integration Settings tab to force a sync. Confirm in Settings → Configure data fields that client sync is enabled — if the field mappings are blank, no data is pushed.

”OAuth connection stopped working” or sync errors

Section titled “”OAuth connection stopped working” or sync errors”

The e-conomic refresh token may have been revoked by the agreement admin, or your e-conomic agreement was suspended. Open Settings & Apps → e-conomic → Connect to e-conomic and click Authorize again. If e-conomic still rejects the request, contact e-conomic support to confirm the agreement is active.

The client may not be linked to an e-conomic customer. Open the client view and confirm the Integration column shows e-conomic; if not, link the Uku client to the matching e-conomic customer manually, or trigger Reload data.
