It’s quite common for users to forget to mark their tasks as completed, or to prefer working from the Calendar view. As a result, when they switch to the Dashboard, they can’t easily find their current tasks because the view is cluttered with old, incomplete ones.

So how can you clean them up?

Tasks can be archived and deleted

Archiving Tasks

Select the tasks you want to archive on the Dashboard.

Click the three-dot menu and choose "Archive tasks".

Note: If you later need to find or review archived tasks, use filters — select the appropriate time period and set the task status to "Archived".

Viewing Expired Tasks

Another way to browse old tasks: click the Grouping icon, select "Show history", and "Choose the period" for how far back you want to see tasks.

Deleting Tasks

  1. On the Dashboard, select the tasks you no longer need and are sure can be removed.

  2. Click the three-dot menu and choose "Delete task."

3. A warning will appear.

If you’re certain you want to permanently remove the tasks, click "Destroy."

⚠️ Note: destroyed tasks cannot be recovered.

Tasks can only be deleted if there is a single assignee.
