How to restore deleted tasks in Uku

Whether you accidentally deleted a task or it seems to have disappeared, Audit Log feature helps you track down and restore your work.

The Audit Log tracks all changes made in your Uku account, including task deletions, modifications, and who made them.

Depending on your plan, you can restore tasks from today (Team plan) or up to 100 days back (Elite plan). Best of all, it's just a few clicks away, and you can access it either from your profile menu, directly from any client card, or even from within a task itself.

How to Access the Audit Log

There are three ways to reach the Audit Log:

1. From Your Profile

  1. Click on your user name in the top right corner

  2. Select "Audit Log" from the dropdown menu

2. From a Client Card

  1. Open the client card

  2. Look at the right sidebar under "Links"

  3. Click on "Audit Log"


3. From a Task

  1. Select the particular task you want to check

  2. Click on the three-dot menu at the top of the task

  3. Select "Audit Log" from the dropdown


Restoring the Tasks

Team Plan - Restore Today's Tasks

With the Team plan, you can restore tasks deleted on the current day and view today's activity history.


Steps to restore:

The easiest way.
In case you know the client name, which task was deleted:

  1. Open the client card

  2. Click "Audit Log" in the right sidebar

  3. Find the deleted task in today's activity list - Uku automatically open the Audit log window with particular customer filters.
    Click on the needed task.


    4. Click the "Undo" button next to the task

    5. Your task is instantly restored! ✨

Elite plan users enjoy extended restoration capabilities with 100 days of activity history.

Steps to restore:

  1. Access the Audit Log (via profile, client card, or task menu)

  1. Use the filters to find your deleted task:

    • Date filter - Navigate to when the task was deleted

    • Type filter - Select what type of activity you're looking for:

      • Activity with Client

      • Activity with your own company

      • Activity with Billing

      • Activity with Plan

      • Task activity

    • Action filter - Choose the specific action:

      • Activity (general)

      • Who and when added the information

      • Deleted tasks, info, etc.

    • User filter - Select activity by specific team member


      2. Scroll through the filtered results to locate your task

      • For example: If looking for a deleted task, filter by "Task" type and "Deleted" action

      3 .Click on the task you need to open its details

      4. Click the "Undo" button to restore

      5. Your task returns to its original location with all details intact!
