Accounting Practice Management Software for FreeAgent Users

If you use FreeAgent to do your accounting then integrating Uku to your workflow takes just a few clicks. After connecting Uku to FreeAGgent you will be able to: 

Import your clients from FreeAgent to Uku (this includes both adding new ones and updating the existing ones); 

Make use of extensive list of Uku features:

- Workflow and task management
- Time tracking
- Reports
- Monitoring
- Billing
- etc.

Click ‘Connect to FreeAgent’. This opens the FreeAgent login page. Please login with your FreeAgent credentials.

If you have more than one account in Freeagent, you will be asked which one you’d like to connect to. 

You'll be asked whether you allow Uku to access your user’ data.

After Uku has been allowed access in FreeAgent, click on “Start import” to fetch your clients from FreeAgent. Uku presents you with the list of clients it found and you'll be able to decide which clients you want to import to Uku. Click 'Confirm' to import the selected clients. ​ For every customer Uku will import its primary contact person / information. Additional contact persons will not be imported in UKU.

1. Open Settings &amp; Apps
2. Open FreeAgent integration
3. Activate the app.
4. Open 'Import' tab
5. Click ‘Connect to FreeAgent’. This opens the FreeAgent login page. Please login with your FreeAgent credentials.
6. If you have more than one account in Freeagent, you will be asked which one you’d like to connect to.

If while connecting to FreeAgent you see the error message “This app is only for accountants. Please get in touch with the author of the application you’re trying to approve.” you need to activate a Practice Dashboard in FreeAgent.

After a successful import from FreeAgent to Uku you will have the following data in Uku:

- Clients and 
- their basic contact information.

Note: The client sync between Uku and FreeAgent will go one-way, from FreeAgent to Uku.

If you've added new clients in FreeAgent or updated existing ones, you can update your client base in Uku as well.
